Media Hack Collective, publisher of The Outlier, is growing and is offering a three-month, paid internship for a junior front-end developer. If you have experience with HTML, CSS, Javascript and are excited about new web technologies this could be for you.

What you will learn and do:

• Develop front-end web applications.
• Create visualisations and interactive dashboards.
• Collaborate with a team of developers and journalists to produce high-quality digital content.
• Engage in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from concept to deployment.

What You Need:

• A passion for web development and design.
• Eager to learn and experiment.
• A university or college degree (not necessarily in computer science).
• A portfolio of prior work demonstrating your HTML, CSS and Javascript skills.
• An interest and experience in AI/machine learning will be a bonus.
• An active GitHub account.

Position Details:

• Duration: 3 months. Candidate may be offered a permanent position after initial 3 month internship.
